It's that time of year again! Wedding season is getting into full swing, and if you're tying the knot this summer (or even serving as a member of the bridal party or a guest), you want to look your best.
First, prep the skin for color using a primer. Primer is extremely important, especially in the warmer months, when makeup tends to fade or come off in the heat. I really love Clé de Peau Beauté's primer, and they have one for lines and one for pores

Even in the summer you want your blush to be pronounced, because a lot of times it appears faint in pictures if you don't have enough. Cream blushes and eye shadows tend to stay on longer — I love La Prairie's cream blushes, Laura Mercier's cream blushes and eye shadows, and YSL's Crème de Blush. For bronzer, I like Guerlain's Four Seasons in blonde or brunette, depending on your hair color.
Another important thing is wearing SPF over your skincare. I love Clé de Peau Beauté's UV Protection Cream SPF 50 PA+++. It stays on for eight hours without reapplication. And Sisley's All Day All Year is amazing as well.
For eyeliner, I love Laura Mercier's Tightline — it is the best-looking eyeliner ever. For mascara, I love Armani's Eyes to Kill and Diorshow is my second choice. I'll also use a few individual false eyelashes from Laura Mercier in the center or corner — full sets can make the bride look like someone else.
On the lips, I recommend using lipstick or stain, lip pencil and lip gloss right in the center — this combination will hold for the longest amount of time. Go with pencils and glosses from La Prairie or Sisley.
Finally, really bright corals and pinks are "in" for spring and summer, so don't be afraid of color!
