Lily GarfieldFather's Day is almost here. Tired of buying Dad the same old boring tie? Cos Bar has some beautiful (and manly) alternatives!

If Dad loves nice cologne, Chanel's new Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême is a great choice. This scent (the third one in the series following Allure Homme and Allure Homme Sport) is a more concentrated version of the original. I'd describe it as being sensual, tart, and sophisticated.

Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Clive Christian, The Art of Shaving, MenScience, Molton Brown, d'Olives
I also love Dolce & Gabbana's The One Sport. This new fragrance for men is an update on Dolce's The One, which is a little spicier with notes of amber and patchouli. The One Sport takes that base note, lightens it up, and makes it a sport fragrance. It's a little fresher, more citrusy, and arguably better for day than for night.

The sophisticated dad might prefer a classic scent like Clive Christian's "C" for men, which is a masculine fragrance that has notes of amber. Tom Ford's new Neroli Portofino is a unisex scent that's light and beachy and really fresh.

Does Dad love a close shave? For the man who has it all, we carry razors and shaving brushes from The Art of Shaving. They all have Gillette blades and come in travel sizes. The oils, creams, and aftershaves are gorgeous too, especially in Sandalwood.

Molton Brown makes really great body washes, deodorants, and body scrubs for men. I'm a big fan of the Bracing Silverbirch fragrance, and men also love the Warming Eucalyptus and Black Pepper scents.

Summer is just a few weeks away, so skincare is especially important. MenScience does an SPF 30 that's oil-free. It's nice and light and great for an athletic dad. They also do a whole men's skincare line — a face wash, face scrub, eye cream, shaving products — everything a woman would use on herself.

Finally, Emulsion d'Olives is a lightweight moisturizer that's great for all-day skincare. It's nice and simple, so men love it. Happy Father's Day!
