There's something so summery about a pretty mani/pedi, and here's a new way to make your nails and toes even more attractive.

"Deborah Lippmann has a new Magnetic Wave Design set that you hold over your nail to create a 'wave' in the polish — it's a lot of fun, and it's a big thing right now," says Kathie Colles, assistant manager of the Vail Cos Bar.

"We also have a whole range of fun new nail colors in from YSL, from nudes to basic corals and reds to funky blues. The brush is really great; it spreads polish on nicely, and it's easy to use for people who like to do their own manicure."

Looking to update your makeup for summer? Colles says Chanel's summer colors are always popular. "This year, they did bronzy shades with a touch of trendy orange and coral," she explains.

She also has a ton of recommendations from Bobbi Brown. "Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Cream Shadows are nice for a simple wash of color, so your makeup isn't overdone. We also just got their new Soothing Cleansing Oil. It melts all of your makeup off with just a little water. And of course their Beach fragrance is popular this time of year," she says.

Armani has some great new products as well. "I love Armani's new Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows, which come in little pots," Colles says. "They are iridescent and glittery, and you can wear them in different ways, from heavy glitter to just a dusting for a light effect. Their Waterproof Eye Liner Pencils are great too."

Finally, Colles is crazy about two new fragrances by Kilian, Water Calligraphy and Bamboo Harmony. "The Asian-inspired theme is really neat and different from their other fragrances, and we've had a really great reaction from our customers. They're really fresh and pretty," she says.
