Cos Bar at Carmel

President & Owner Lily Garfield opened her seventh Cos Bar in Carmel, California, in February, 2005, only a few short months after opening her seventh store in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Saks Fifth Avenue had closed its doors the previous year and had left the area void of any high end retail shops carrying luxury cosmetics and skincare.

With the opening of the Cos Bar at Carmel, customers were once again able to buy their favorite brands as they were used to from Saks, such as Bobbi Brown; Laura Mercier; Chanel and Lancome, but also had access to many other high-end luxury brands such as Cle de Peau, Nars, Kanebo and La Mer. Furthermore, customers could expect a one-on-one service experience from the store’s highly-trained professional sales associates.  Chenoa Matteson is our store manager.
