Berry lips everyone can achieve

With any trend, the trick is to strike a balance between experimental and wearable, and find the look that works for you. Luckily for us, this season's most striking trend is easy to do and doesn’t go overboard. The trend report is in... And it’s all about berry lips! Here at our Charleston location, we think a dark, moody lip has never looked better. We also believe there’s a shade out there for everyone, whether it be almost black, or a shade with a little more red. Pucker-up and let Kori tell you how you’ll be flaunting your berry lips from the Thanksgiving table to the mistletoe.

Trish McEvoy

Trish McEvoy – Flawless Lip Primer
“You need to prime before applying a dark lip. The last thing you want is feathering and smudging. My lip prep of choice is Flawless Lip by Trish McEvoy. It’s applied on and around your lips to keep lipstick smooth for hours.”

Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier – Velour Lovers Lip Colour – In “An Affair”
“When I think berry, I think of this shade. This Laura Mercier lipstick features a matte finish and can survive throughout even the liveliest holiday party!”

La Prairie

La Prairie – Luxe Lip Liner Automatique – In “Beaujolais”
“This La Prairie lip liner is my go-to. The thin pencil provides an extremely precise line and the lip brush smudges away any mistakes. The rich color has an extreme pigmentation that can be layered on perfectly.”

Sisley

Sisley – Phyto-Lip Twist – In "No. 5 Berry”

“This product is always my suggestion for those who are new to pigmented lips. Sisley makes it super easy to use and the shape makes it foolproof. The active plant-based ingredients make lips supple, moisturized and visibly smooth. It works like a balm as well.”
