I get compliments on this every single time I wear it- I could skip a day and it be on the jacket I had on day before and you can STILL smell it, if you are willing to spend the money it is definitely worth the money and will last you awhile! This fragrance is my absolute favorite - which says a lot, since I'm a luxury fragrance HOARDER. I love this one, and it's perfect for day to day wear, but I have to admit, the Extrait version is just so much better. The scent is deeper and more complex and just so SEXY! I first smelled this on someone while I was shopping. I had to stop her to ask what she was wearing. It is so unique and like nothing I have smelled before. Its spicy and masculine yet very feminine. She was surprised that I could smell it because she hadn't applied any that day, she said it was just left over from what she sprayed on her clothes the day before. I received this as a gift and obviously - that could have bombed! Scent is so personal and I admit I was nervous to open the box. The scent is hard to pin down. It is sweet, SO feminine, and smells nothing like the stuff from the department store. There are no "sharp edges" to it. It is luxurious, soft, light, lovely. I feel like a princess when I spritz this on myself. For reference, I am 33; my mom, who is 70, bought her own bottle after trying this on herself and falling helplessly in love. WORTH THE SPLURGE! I recently went to try this fragrance out and got a rather deluxe sample from a very nice associate. We were testing different fragrances and my complaint about others was either they were too strong and one dimensional (some of the Tom) or they didn't last but five minutes (the jo malones). I was then shown this stores most popular scent where they sell out of all bottles the moment it comes in. This is a very rich and sweet fragrance but has some masculinity to it with the wood and the dry down on the skin. I would say it would be five stars if a few people around me weren't getting head aches from it. marie says:
